Real Science 4 Kids Yahoo! Group

I’ve been a list member for a while, knowing that I wanted to use RS4K
eventually. A friend of mine was selling hers for a price I couldn’t
refuse, so I’m using it to afterschool my previously homeschooled third
and fourth graders (they’re in our district’s gifted magnet program,
but still don’t get much science at school).

We started tonight, and they’re having a ball, especially the fourth
grader—he’s flipped ahead and decided to do acids and bases for the
science fair. Now if I can have them put all of the contents of my
cabinets back (they’re all over the living room floor now!)

They saw that the next unit involves marshmallows—that was all the
motivation they needed to get through the definition review. :D
